Pur Festival Palette

Please bear with me as this will be an ongoing review until I feel satisfied that I have used this beautiful palette enough to give you a well rounded review.  We will be starting with some swatches and my initial feelings.  Upon opening it really does give you a fun festival feel.  There are four mattes, two glitters, and six shimmers.  They all swatched nicely.  The mattes do have some kick up but yes, pigment please!  As always I do a finger swatch and a brush swatch.  I also clean my brush in a switch in between shades.  I did notice that there was some staining from the pink in the palette.  All pictures are taken flash/no flash.  I ONLY crop/rotate pictures and do not tweak them in any other way.

Custom Catch Dog Collar

I ordered a dog collar from a company called Custom Catch which is a small business based in Vermont. The ordering process was very quick.

My order came very quickly and was 100% correct. The lettering was beautiful and the collar fit perfect. The leather is soft as advertised and was very easy to put on.

We have taken him for walks with it and it has held up wonderfully. I still hang his little rabies tag on it for extra safety because there are pretty strict rules in my area about animals. My little boy just looks so handsome with his new collar! He has a lot of extra skin Around his neck (we could make a mini Loki there is so much) I always worry a collar is choking him but this one is nice and snug and I don't feel worried his little neck rolls will get in the way.

The price point of about 15 bucks for a locally made quality product just blows my mind. Do yourself a favor and pick some of these up for your furbabies. With the customization offered you will never have to worry about them staying lost again.

UPDATE: Loki is still wearing this collar. It had the usual wear you would expect. There has been no splitting of the Leather or cracking and no rust to be seen. It's still solid so I feel comftorable walking him with it. Still pleased!

Makeup Alley

I try to review every makeup product I put on my face. So not to be redundant I'm going to post the link here!  Makeup Alley. I am just starting out with all of this so please be patient. My skin type is combination. I am oily through my tzone and I do get dry patches under my eyes sometimes. I have large pores and blackheads so I am forever searching for a minimizer. I hope you find these useful in your makeup buying journeys!

This is a website that you get products for VERY cheap to test out and give reviews about. I ordered them Sunday on Amazon and received them today. I did a spot test on my left forearm in case of allergies. (You should always do this with new products). Products I received:

So I un boxed the first two. Very run of the mill packaging. Both were sealed with foil which is always a good thing. Gotta keep that product fresh!  Since I received it so late I won't be applying these until morning. I'm going to do a half and half on my stomach. A Plagentra VS Plagentra so to speak ;-). I will do this for a few weeks and then do a comparison!  I've got my fair share of stretch marks so fingers crossed!  I'm even going to include pictures. I mean, that should save me a thousand words right?!  

The last product mentioned above I'm going to try it without any foundation on top. I don't want to layer to many products. Makeup wearers know how bad that can go!  I'm going to keep an open mind with this BB cream but it's 38 SPF. Holy flashback!  I took a picture of it for then allergy test and there was definitely some flashback there. The packaging says Soothing & Whitening. Why does the whitening part strike a bit of fear into my heart?    

My hopes are high!

The beginning.

This will be a journey that I am going to share with you. I love all things beauty, crafts, DIY. I like to create. Whether that be creating a bit of light into someone's life or creating changing within myself. Through this blog I hope to provide people with my unbiased opinion on things that's I try. Things that I buy, at full price or discount, or receive for free. I want to provide detailed long term reviews. I see so many reviews done where the person has just tried the product for a day or two , using a beauty cream as a for instance, and rant about how soft their face is. What about two weeks later?  Long term effects?  Any interactions with other products?  So many questions!  I'm a very curious person by nature and finding these answers are my mission!  So ladies and gentlemen let's find some products and companies that may help make our lives just a little bit better or more convenient.
